Recently, I was contacted by an amazing mom looking to throw a super fun Bat Mitzvah. I asked where she was planning to have the party, and she mentioned a new venue that had somehow escaped my radar until now.
The Social Loft Event & Venue Space
2011 Tower Drive, Suite D9A,
Glenview, IL 60026
The Social Loft is a boutique-style event venue with a beautiful, neutral, modern vibe that can be completely customized for any kind of event. They prioritize low stress and great service.
Zero vendor restrictions
No service or gratuity fees, and no food and beverage minimums
Accommodates up to 100 people for seated service or 125 people for a cocktail event
Allows outside catering and BYOB
This is just the short list. There are actually a ton of other amenities and great features you’ll have to check out in person. You can also visit their website HERE.
When encountering a new venue, I typically perform a site inspection. This is where I visit the location, meet with management, and assess everything. It’s a great way to identify and eliminate any logistical, power, or aesthetic issues that could arise on the day of the event.
This client wanted our LED panels along with our Infinity Mirror LED Dance Floor but was unsure how big of a dance floor the space could accommodate. I was even wondering if the LED panels would fit! Once I got into the room, I was able to visualize how everything could work and helped her come up with an even better layout that suited her event’s needs.
I’m very skilled at imagining how something will look in a specific space. I can see it in my mind in various configurations, and because not everyone has this ability, I create renderings to help my clients get a clearer grasp of what something could look like versus just explaining it.
The first thing I did was set up a few uplights in the room and started taking photos. When I got home, I created a few renderings. At this point, I’m confident that the look will fit, and my client is well-informed about the services being provided.
Seeing what something will look like on the day of the event is a whole different level of customer service that I love bringing to the table.
Check out some of the photos and renderings below.
